Lottie
Lottie
came and spoke to Alice students about being a Sufi.
She had been brought up as a Sufi by her mother and father in New
Zeland. She
read us 'The Giving Tree', played us Turkish Sufi music, described
the Sufi service, and spoke about the life and read poems by Jalal
al-Din Rumi,
the 13th century Persian mystic
and poet, whose words are the most popular and widely read in our
world today.
 |
Lotti
has been travelling the world for two years, teaching in different
countries and with her eclectic
and always compassionate
practical experience
she taught English in our small Sarnath branch school and gave
a 'teaching English as a foreign language' workshop to our primary
school teachers. |

Lottie came with us to Mother Ganga,
and took all our digital photographs of our human chain and
our Sarnath demo. |
