When the protagonist grows to accept the notion of a demon figure, (symbolizing the "darker" aspects of the mind) residing in himself, his surroundings and other people the demon "loses his darkness and looks more happy…" He questions the Wise Rabbit about this, who says: "If your mind is overcome by hate, you will project wars and suffering. If your mind is full of love, you will transform not only yourself, but the whole world." |
