Drama classes - An Evening Class Project
The Universal Education School (Alice Project) here
presents a few play- scripts and essays written by the students. These plays express their feelings towards the evils in the rural society in which they live. As a play or theater comprises of words, action, music, comedy and pathos-hence it conveys a message emphatically and leaves the audience a bit ashamed of their failings or weaknesses. Among other things the Alice Project encourages students to develop their talents at school level and also helps to inculcate in them a sense of leadership. The following literary contributions have been selected by the Alice Project for the merit and are herewith published.

PREM JOTI STUDENTS VISIT THE ALICE PROJECT

The students of Prem Joti School visited the Alice Project. Many of the students in this school have special needs. Some are deaf and cannot speak; some have physical handicaps; others have mental handicaps.

VOLUNTEERS OF OUR SCHOOL

Many children or families that are poor are supported by  Universal Education School volunteers. Some help the school with donations and presents. Some volunteers stay in the school and help with their services.

Some volunteers have shown real devotion to the school. Franco Sir, for instance, is one of them. He is from Italy. He did not have formal education; the life was his university. In his childhood he worked; and now he is still working and working at our Sarnath school.

SPEECH OF THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CLASS

Good morning,
Reverend Valentino Giacomin the director of this school, respected principal sir, teachers and my dear classmates. Thank you for giving me opportunity to express our view and experiences that we had here, I am Su Chandra Chaka, I am speaking on the behalf of class twelve. Some students have been studying here since the beginning of the school and some of them came last year. Really and truly speaking we do not know how quickly the time and the days have passed. In this very short period we have got priceless academic and moral education to which we shall try to act upon in our respective life.

SPINNING Project of the Alice Project.

Eighteen women and thirty girls are participating in the Spinning Project in Sarnath near the Shiva temple.

This project is mainly for those women and girls whose economical situation is very poor. The Alice Project is providing machines and training. Mahatma Gandhi started this movement years ago.
In the future the women and girls can earn fifteen hundred rupees. This work is done by hand and can be done in their houses.

New Teacher : Sri Ram Jaisawal

Mr, Sri Ram was bourn in 1935 AD, in Saidraj which is now in Chandaooli. His father was traders but Mr, Siri Ram was not so much interested on his father’s business.
